Hey, stop complaining. These are our crime fighters. They SHOULD look agressive. Have you ever seen a bust? The criminals are agressive. I think they look very professional and clean. But, yes, black clothing in Florida is a poor choice. Very hot.
I grew up in Clearwater, where they decided to put the beach police on Honda scooters and have them wear shorts, tennis shoes, and knee socks. Being a punk ass kid, I was sure to do something to draw police attention to myself, but man, it's really hard taking an officer dressed like that very seriously.

The TPD needed a lift and they got one, if you have a problem with it go down to the police station and file a complaint telling them how much you hate the new paint job and offer your less than tallented painting in the suggestion box!
