Political Recycling

1. Randy Baron is running for Tampa City Council District 1 in March election
2. There are thousands of political yards signs all over the place. Flyer Anon had stated the metal stakes are worth something as sign makers collect them.

Solution: On November 8, all Seminole Heightsians gather as many political yard signs. Then we either gather the metal stakes and given them to Randy to give to his sign maker so as to cut his costs. Or we spray paint over existing verbaige and add the words "Randy Baron for City Council" on them. We do the same for the large Paul Jeske signs.

**This idea not approved or evne known by Randy Baron. This is not a paid political ad but rather a loose cannon running crazy.

1. I think gathering the old signs and recycling the metal stakes is a good idea, though you might check with Randy’s sign maker to find out if he/she can actually utilize them.

2. Spray painting over other politicians’ signs and then adding Randy’s name to them might have a negative rebound for Randy. It might be seen by some people as vandalism or just plain tacky.

Rein in that loose cannon. :-)

I have no idea what Randy thinks, but I know that sev eral of the candidates for office had signs and no metal stakes. So. gather up the stakes and donate them to Randy! I think it's a wonderful idea! The stakes are the most expensive part of a yard sign.
