Doesn't Storms' district include Gibsonton? If so, it would only make sense that they elect a clown - one of their own kind.

"Soul and Water Conservation" ? That's funny.

I'm dismayed by Ken Anthony's loss. Having met him and his wife at a neighborhood pot luck, I can attest he is a likeable, thoughtfull person. I voted mostly party line yesterday, but I strayed across the line for Ken and would do so again should he gather the courage for another run.

I was happy to se Rev. Thomas Scott lose.

I'm unhappy to see Norman on the county commission. The last thing we need is more unchecked development. I'd hate to see Tampa make the same growth decisions Atlanta did. (For those that care, take a look at Seattle's answer to rural development.)

Was anyone else struck by the sex-industry straw poll? A non-binding poll on the same ballot as Joe Redner... seemed very tactical to me.

I am very dissappointed in Ken Anthony's loss to Kevin White. He is on point with the issues and would have represented the City well. I think it's worth noting that Ken is a Riverside Heights resident.

I can NOT even begin to imagine why anyone would put Storms into public office. But if it is what the majority calls for.
What heppened with Redner?

I can't believe that crazy lady won!

And Kevin White? People, people!

LOl!
Can anyone here please explain to me why Rhonda Storms is back
that woman is a circus all on her own.

Keep reading the papers...Bigger story than ever to come about Kevin White. Just wanted to hook him with a bigger net (county commission). He will never make two (2) years without going off in handcuffs. The people get just what they deserve....and so will Kevin.

Another gem is Vern Buchanan getting elected to the House from Sarasota. Then again, this is the same district that elected Katherine Harris twice!

It is probably better that Rhonda gets shipped-off to Tallahassee vs. meddling around here.

The outcome in the Buchanan vs Jennings should be getting ready to heat up. The under vote in the most hotley contested race in Sarasota is around 18,000. The is 10x the under vote of any race in that district. Little more than 300 votes apart.

Apparently there are allegations that the race was left of the ballot in in machines provided some precincts in the congressional district and that the lay-out was as well thought out as the infamous butterfly ballot of 2000.
