"Transit officials in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties are considering a merger of their bus systems, a move that could boost travel between the two counties and attract more federal funding."
I wonder if it will be called Pinellas-Hillsborough Area Rapid Transit System? P.H.A.R.T.S?

I'm hoping for
Bay Area Bus Expanded System
which should help increase ridership, particularly among males aged 16-55(don't they all want to ride BABES?)
and not
Pinellas Hillsborough Area Transit Additional Service System
which would probably lower ridership.
Who wants to ride the PHATASS?
pharts is still the best....however i have to admit i'm sad no one has done the obvious "p.h.a.t" = pinellas hillsborough area transit. i mean, seriously, who wouldn't proudly display their "phat" card?????
riiight...because the existing bus systems are really utilized.
I think that PHARTS would be appropriate. After all, look how much GAS they are wasting!
