Seminoe Heights History People

"We are going to be at the downtown library Tues., Oct. 3 at 6:00pm to scan Burgert Brothers photos. If you would like to join us to help compile neighborhood history information please let me know.

There is Hampton Terrace City Directory information that we need. Also, we need to continue looking at the early newspapers.

No experience needed. Just get in touch with me so I can plan the work.
Steve 238-9115"

Grammar Genie, I suggest an diuretic to alleviate your anal problem

Thank you for posting this! I met Steve at the library and he helped me research my house and show that it was built in 1927, not in 1945 like the property appraiser site currently shows! And I know the first two owners from 1927 - 1975!! Super cool!

Hey Anon 8:25. A diuretic is something that eliminates liquids from the body. Has nothing to do with the "anus".

Hey Grammar Geenie (sp) - If you mean to be a magical spirit serving the person who calls you (also known as a jinn in arabic), you would probably call yourself a grammar genie.

Unless the "handle" is a clue to your identity, in which case I would recommend registering the name with blogger, which is both free and easy.

Otherwise, you are little better than the multiple anonymii (yes, I intended that to be a made up word) in this forum.

Steve, did you happen to run across any photos of East Genesee St.? I'd love to find something of my house, or at least the street. How much of the Burgert catalog has been scanned?
