I got a note from Gil Thelen today saying that the print masthead is close to being relaunched and thanking me for my input.

I am currently a subscriber to the Trib, but I am most likely going to change over to the Times now, this morning's paper was the final straw. Not only do I have to be subjected to being part of the "South Tampa" section, I have to now read news items for Valrico, Plant City, and Lutz in my neighborhood section. To make it even worse, I had already read most of the articles in the Metro section. Maybe it was a slow news day, but I'd rather have no section at all on those days than re-read articles that should be in the metro section and not in my neighborhood section.

I find it amazing. Last Thursday when the Trib arrived on my doorstep I got the NE section. What fun to read all about Temple Terrace, etc. Although I got the email about the Central Tampa Section, I did not get the Central Tampa section. Did it come out Thursday or was that only on the web site?

i subscribed for a year and never recieved any neighborhood section and my paper was always in my neighbors yard. besides if you try to find out what is going on with your subscription you will have better luck talking to a dog
