The city and code department try so hard to show their teeth. However, they always allow fine reductions. If they keep this practice up, every citizen will know that you can take it past the edge, then go down and request a fine reduction which will be granted. Why not stand up say now and collect the fines. Maybe the code department salaries could be offset where the department could be come a self funded department. As a taxpayer, I am tired of paying for their servcies when they seem to do very little to make progress. (However, with the new code girl, SHE IS AMAZING AND DESERVES EVER PENNY SHE MAKES -- AND NO, ASKING HER OUT IS NOT CONSIDERED A FRINGE BENEFIT OF DOING HER JOB IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD, SO LEAVE HER ALONE AND LET HER FOCUS!!!)

What about we demand a raise but only if we change the uniforms to include a mini-skirt.
On a serios note, I am not happy about these diaper throwers getting off with just a time-out.
