Phyllis Andrews Married
Tampa, Fl July 10. In the Seminole Heights Methodist Church . . . .Miss Phyllis Jane Andrews, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Andrews, was married to Dr. Walker Prioleau Rivers Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Rivers of Augusta, Georgia.
The Rev. Dr. Edward J. Pendergrass performed the ceremony which was followed by a reception in the home of the bride's parents.

Both apparently had medical degrees (from Yale and Harvard). I wonder where they are now?

The Drs. Rivers moved to Columbus Georgia, and both practiced medicine while raising 6 children, 2 of whom have medical-related Ph.D.s, while another is a RN.
Their daughter Ellen Beaufort is now Lee Rivers Mobley, Ph.D., is a Senior Economist and Research Fellow at RTI International in Durham, NC. She does health-related research.
Dr. Walker Rivers has deceased, but Dr. Jane Rivers is thriving and keeps busy with her two pharoah hounds.
