Been wondering that myself

Merino's Deli is coming very soon! The Owner is polishing off the permiting process, and then I imagine the opening very, very shortly!

Those tables look dangerously close to Fl Ave.

I know for a fact that Merinos Deli is coming very soon.
As for the tables being close to Fla. Ave, I was informed that there will be a beautiful tree and garden between the street and the tables.

I think it will be great although it seems like it could hardly be soon. The building seems to need a ton of work to look like the drawing.

I hope the tree garden blocks out-- fl ave., AAA used appliances, larrys automotive, & brothers junk yrd accross the street.

Whle I hope this does open... keep in mind this guy was previously going to open "Marinos Family Italian" restaraunt on Florida ave. That was all hype and no action. The building it was supposed to go into looked like the sort of place a crack addict would avoid.

I wish him all the best, but I don't expect much at this point.

He has good artists working for him. I hope he isn't just pipe dreaming. The deli needs to take the whole larry's automotive or you will be eating outside next to a car repair center. who wants to do that?

Why is there a 6 ft solid fence all the way to the sidewalk, blocking motorist vision. What kind of idiot would think that is correct.

That fence, which is not 6' and not solid, is also not on any streets, nor is it next to any driveways. It is a division between two lots. There is currently a 6' high solid wood picket fence there now. This actually opens it up from its current state.

My answer to Anonymous 6:14's question is:
the kind of idiot that would make that statement would think that.

Maybe you need eyeglass cleaner, eyeglasses, a mind wipe, and/or some common sense.

OK OK the woman and man in the picture look from 5'5" -t0 about 6 ft. Why does it need the barrier to the side walk. With the fence and trees it looks like it 's going to block the sight of people pulling out on Fl ave. from north street. I just don't want to see more accidents like the one earlier this year from a chain link blocking motorist vision.

Why are there onlty 2 parking places for the deli. I don't think this will be a viable business for seminole heights with only 2 parking spots. If he had the whole building it would work.

Doesn't the 6 foot high existing fence end at the building? About 20 ft from the sidewalk. Please don't put a fence and trees out buy the street. Noone would want to sit out there anyway. I understand the need to blocked the used appliances but we do not need another traffic fatality because blocked vision.

Why do safety and code issues upset you so much. Do the right thing otherwise you will be fighting the resident & OSHNA.

Anonymous said...

The right thing being what the people with a dilusion of power decide?

Anonymous said...

I don't get it. Are you for or against obstructing motorist vision. And have you owned a business before cause the way i see it this will make it until the owner runs out of cash.

I have nothing to do with any owner. I don't even eat food. I harvest the energy from the sun.

I am not in favor of nazi-wannabe's like you and your negative counter productive comments with visions of control.
