Tampa Heights Found Injured Dog

From an email by a Rick

Dog Found:

Wednesday 7/12/06 at 5:15 p.m. I along with 4 other good samaritans found a dog that had been hit by a car on North Blvd just south of Columbus in Tampa Heights. The dog was a small black cocker spaniel, possibly a mix. I don't know the sex. The dog was without use of its hind legs and laboring to breathe, but still coherent. We were able to get the dog off the road onto a blanket, and a gentleman offered to take it to the vet. He took it to a 24 hr emergency vet near the corner of Busch and Armenia. It had a home again tag that we called in, but the operator was unable to bring up any info on the number. There was no registration tag attached to the collar.

If this sounds like your missing dog, don't hesitate to make your way to the vets office near Busch and Armenia. If no one claims the dog, with its injury, it's hard to say what its fate may be.
