"By the way, Flora's memorial service yesterday was wonderful. I spoke at
length with her parents before and after the ceremony and they were both
very touched by all the things people related about how Flora had affected
their lives. My best guess is that there were about 300 people there. "

Is this about Flora from Merritt Island? Please let me know. My husband and I were close friends with her when we were younger and I came across this while trying to look her up. Thank you.

I'm wondering the same, if this was Flora from Merritt Island. She was a good friend, but for too short of a time, as she moved away(from Tallahassee) and we lost touch. There are too many similarities in what I have read for it not to be her, but I sure hope that it isn't. Either way, this is a sad event, and best wishes to her family.
