Blue Sea Seafood Market and Restaurant

Well today, I finally had a chance to visit the Blue Sea Seafood Market Restaurant located at 7110 N. Nebraska Avenue. Phone 234-5085. Fax 234-5690. Hours Mon - Sat 10 AM to 8PM

Here is their menu. As you can see the food is very reasonable.

In the previous post everyone had good things to say about the food. I have not had a chance to eat there yet but will do so soon. As I don't really eat fish, what would someone recommend
I try?

This restaurant will be a good unique complement to the other restaurants we have. Please recommend it to everyone you know.

Those are great prices! I don't make it down there often but I will definitely stop in next time I'm around.

when we ordered our meals, we received enough fish to feed us for days. Even the sandwiches are packed full of fish.

My partner wasn't fond of the thick batter on the fried fish--though I was. It appeared to be some sort of southern cornmeal variety. Those New Zealanders are picky about their fish, let me tell you. He stared at the hushpuppy like it'd hatch a Pat Robertson or something.

The staff (owners) are friendly. The fish is good. Wait time was low.

Oh, and they're new to the neighborhood and looking for a house. :-) So you folks from Evelyn City ought to woo them your way.

We ate there last Sat nite. Ran into Lou Klar who was buying dinner, I think.
Tons of food and very cheap. SAlthough there are trables and chairs I think I'll treat it as a grab and go. Good food, lousy tarter sauce. My friend orderedx the clam strips and we couldn't even come cliose to finishing them. (The cat was happy though!)

The other place you might want to try is the barbeque place on the E. side of Nebraska at Crenshaw???, I think. Lots of food. Cheap and excellent service by the owner's 12+/- year old son. It's drive-thru only.

I have recommended this restaurant to everyone I know! I thought the batter was great, not too thick and it was not greasy at all. I love that you can get fresh, steamed vegetables. Unlike Shawn, I liked the old tartar sauce better, but believe me the flavor of the fish does not need any doctoring. The staff is always friendly and soooo fast. It is one of my new fav places, An I even drive from the other side of Tampa to get food from there.

This place is great to us. Fresh seafood prices are very fair. The fried stuff is good and the portions are more than generous. You can get a two or three type thing platter and upgrade to the jumbo shrimp. One dinner might feed three people, especially if you make a salad. Good stuff, gimme some of that good stuff ...

This place has the best FRIED GROUPER SANDWICH in town. It has soooo much grouper on it that you could make 3 sandwiches easily. The styrofoam box that they put it in has to be rubber banded to stay closed because the sandwich doesnt fit in the box. It is crazy!!! The best part of it all is that the sandwich is only $4.99. That is half of the price of a grouper sandwich anywhere else and you get at least double the meat than anywhere else. All of you should definitely eat there!!! one of my favorite spots!
