OSHNA’s Preservation Committee

If seeing an old building has ever made you feel happy…

OSHNA’s Preservation Committee will be meeting at 7 p.m., on Monday, April 10,
at the home of Suzanne Prieur, 5306 N. Suwanee Ave.

We are going to be starting some exciting projects & invite you to join us. You do not need to have any experience, just an interest in preservation. You do not need to have oodles of spare time. Tasks are small & specific & you can take them on as you wish.

You will meet some wonderful people, learn interesting things about the past & help save some old buildings.

Call Suzanne at 813 610-5255 for more information.

Just curious, what sorts of buildings are they preserving, are they residences or businesses. Is this for folks who can't do restoration themselves(not physically or financially able).

I think it is geared more to historic research and getting verbal histories from long time residents, etc. not actual building rehabbing.
