Chelsea and 12th - another accident

"There has been ANOTHER traffic accident at the corner of 12th and Chelsea Streets. Two cars involved and numerous pedestrian witnesses who just happened to be walking in the area when it happened.

I wonder how long the city's traffic department will continue to not take this issue seriously. There have been at least 12 or 15 accidents there that I can remember and they continue to claim that there is not a traffic issue.

When someone does get injured (or worse) there I will make sure that the victim and their family know the entire history of the traffic problems there and just maybe they will be able to take some legal action.

It is ridiculous that it has to come to this. But I see that we are not the only ones with traffic issues. It has been almost 3 years since that woman was killed on Bayshore Blvd by a motorcyclist and still NOTHING has been done to calm traffic there either.

Please do SOMETHING!!!!"
