I know this is off the subject, but I am trying to find out why there is a shortage of shopping carts and parking spaces at the Publix on Nebraska lately. Any info? Thanks.

Albertson's closing did it.

I've been meaning to ask Randy "Red" Baron if he's shooting for the commie vote. If it's true that "Red" is indicative of his political leaning (and not his neck color)...it might work in some districts but probably not city-wide. Good Luck!

Red State / Blue State??

Normally, the color red is used to denote the more liberal political persuasion. Somehow, as with everything, the Media have gotten it backwards.

Perhaps "Red" will mean socially liberal Randy will end up with more Republican votes.

I think it was his PR team that came up with the tag with no intended meaning other than as a jog to the memory when you get to the ballot box

I think it might be a nick name of his childhood. At a recent OSHNA meeting he joked saying his hair used to be red.

Who cares? Besides his hair is red. Maybe it has to do with Red Baron Pizza? No one cares, but he got the St. Pete Times endoresement. Way to go Randy!

Randy Baron is a terrible neighbor. I live near him. He leaves his dogs out barking all night. Last night he had some kind of get together and while he was in his house with all his friends acting like a great guy, his neighbors had to listen to his 2 dogs barking and whining to come in out of the cold. This went on for over 3 hours. The dogs barked all night. There have been MANY other instances like this. I've even had to bang on his door at 4am so I could get some sleep one night. Be considerate of your neighbors. Forget about meeting with this group and that group, forget about running for any offices, forget about being a big shot...start at home and take care of your dogs and respect your neighbors.

I know that I'm commenting on an old post...I just had to vent about this guy.

natas, WHAT A PLEASURE to meet you. Once I made a comment about Randy on the Grouchy Old Man's blog. Actually it might have been one of the other voxers .. wasn't even THAT disparaging... and next thing I know we're getting email asking us who we think we are and what exactly is our problem with him. FROM HIS LOFTY JOB AT THE SHRINER'S HEADQUARTERS... you know ... that's how they ROLL. I thoght it was ballsy of him and a lot of other people to roll into tampa and some of them outright steal property (don't know how randy got HIS) and then five minutes later they want to run the place to screw the rest of us out or ours. SO, NEXT THING I KNOW I take one of our friend's son over to that lil icecream place on manhattan??? can't think of the name.. by the library .. and who STALKS IN BEHIND US just jonesing for a vanilla which he ate like it was his first and last meal... it was VERY unappealing. VERY. Animalistic. It was Randy Baron. For awhile masons followed us around and intimidated us but apparently didn't find much currency in it. Luckily I had my camera so I got a few good pictures of him devouring that cone .....
When a person will FOLLOW YOU AROUND and have his fellow freaks follow you around because you don't like his politics and SAY SO.. there is something wrong with that picture.

Seriously.
Hope you're okay natas I see this comment is two years old. My experience with him stems from while he was running for office. him and some other old fat dude named brian with star tattoos all over his arms and not sure where else.
