Probable Burglar Arrested

As Helen Harmon noted there was an arrest made yesterday in the 5700 block of Cherokee. It is probable he might be home invader noted earlier.

Name: Williams, Christopher Phillip
DOB: 08/22/82
Home Address: 1902 E. Emma St.
Bond: 29,500.00
He has a history of burglary and auto theft.

Now, if you want to help send this guy a way for a while, show up at his court hearings or contact the State Attorney assigned to the case.
His court case# is 05-CF-014366
You can track his court progress at the Clerk of Circuit Court.Posted by Picasa

Good job by TPD!

Nice work finding this and posting it on the SH Blog. I found this charge to be especially scary, "ARMED BURGLARY OF STRUCTURE". I wonder what he was packing.

This is great to see. Susan (I can't remember her last name sorry Sue!) who lives on Branch knocked on our door early Sunday AM and told me that police were back at Seminole near Henry and had made an arrest. He was actually spotted and heard breaking the glass at THE SAME HOME WHERE HE ATTACKED OUR NEIGHBOR by two great neighbors of the victims who called the Tampa Police (kudos guys) and was chased down and tasered by a valiant member of the PD, I believe a Sergeant, who we should and will, recognize at the first meeting of our Neighborhood watch. After learning that he was carrying a knife, and of his violent resistance, I am even more grateful I did not try and stop him when he burgled our home! He is off the streets and we owe a watchful neighbor and the PD for getting this beast. Stay vigilant and stay tuned for the location and date of our first neighborhood watch meeting.
