Podcasting

According an article today in the Money section of the Tampa Trib, apparently WMNF 88.5 Community Radio Station (based in Seminole Heights) is one of the few radio stations in the Tampa area that podcasts. I guess not being tied in to a large corporate master allows the flexibility to be ahead of the rest of the pack of sheep. According to the WMNF web site"

We're testing our brand new Podcasting service, which provides our news and public affairs shows as downloadable mp3s for IPods, mp3 players or your home computer.

Be one of the first to try the new downloads - you can also subscribe to shows so that every time a new program is available, the mp3 will automatically be sent to you.

Public radio station WUSF 89.7 (another of my favorite radio stations) is going to start podcasting shortly.
