This was the original Seminole Heights blog with commentary about life in and around the urban neighborhood of Seminole Heights in Tampa, Florida. Musings about other topics as my mood permits. The blog is essentially inactive since I moved to Lutz. Go to The Official Unofficial Seminole Heights Blog - www.seminoleheightsblog.com for active content.
Saturday, we participated in the semi-annual Yesterdaze neighborhood Rummage Sale. Cool items. Great crowd. There were some interesting antiques and vintage items there. We sold about 85 to 90% of our items. The next sale is in November. Great marketing idea, Sherri

How did you find out about this? I would have loved to go, but I didn't know anything about it. It wasn't advertised very well.
The next sale will be in November. This is open to anyone interested in selling (just about) anything. If you'd like to set-up and sell you can contact the store 231-2020 now and we'll call you in Oct. to see if you still want to participate.
I advertised the sale in the Trib. classifieds, TBT, PennySaver, Flyer and put up signs, plus handed out fliers to customers for about a month previous to the sale. Any other advertising ideas (that aren't too expensive) would be appreciated!
We had a great time!! I would love to hear of other ideas to let more people know about it.
OSH will be having their neighborhood-wide yard sale this next November as well.
Thanks Shawn, we hold the parking lot sale on the same day to be part of the OSH yard sale. Anyone who isn't in OSH (or is, for that matter) who wants to sell with us, just let us know!
