Merinos' Deli

If all goes well, coming to Seminole Heights in July is Merino's Deli at 6430 N. Florida Avenue, next to Larry's Automotive. Mike Merino is the owner

I remember years ago there was a Merino's restaurant/deli in downtown Tampa near the intersection of Twiggs and Tampa Street. I think the owner was Mike Merino. I recall it being a great lunch spot with wonder salads and sandwiches. If it's the same owner, what a welcome he would get in our neighborhood.
