Comments on the Snoz Biz (on Hillsborough next to Boca Bargoons in the old Dairy Queen.)


"have you tried the shaved ice/snow cone place on hillsborough, just east ofnebraska (south side of the street, I think the nearest cross road is 9th)?went there the other day to try it out. had the blue raspberry and cherry,together (1/2 and 1/2). and I have to say... it's great. good iceconsistency, good (true-to-life) flavors, nice owners, they're open till 10,and the best part is for 50 cents more you can add cream (evaporated milk)to your icy. so yummy. the owner gave me a free taste of the cream on minesince I'd never heard of such a thing before, and suggested next time I try the peaches (and cream) or get the vanilla, banana, strawberry and cream mixwhich apparently tastes like a banana split.also, frida's is closed for good now.

went to see musican/spoken-wordartist doria roberts there the other night. it was a great show, especiallynice on their final night. sad to see it leave the 'hood."
