Hello Everyone!
I wanted to do a quick follow-up to my original posting on Oct. 3, which was titled “Bungalow Bistro Open for Business.”
We will now be open for lunch! Please note that our temporary business hours will be Tue-Sat, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and closed Sunday and Monday. We are trying our best to establish business hours and menu items to best serve our community. We will be serving dinners soon. I will post another update with dates and times.
We look forward to enticing you with a daily special or one of our signature dishes. Our menu includes gourmet sandwiches, fresh salads, homemade hot soups as well as homemade desserts. The official Web site will be up soon, and you can now email us at info@bungalowbistrotampa.com for more information. Also, feel free to call us at (813) 237-2000 to place an order or schedule an event.
We hope to see you soon!

ReplyDeleteWill the hours of operation be changing? It would be nice to have extended hours.
ReplyDeleteYou guys must have skipped over those parts in the two Bungalow Bistro entries. This entry states "We are trying our best to establish business hours and menu items to best serve our community. We will be serving dinners soon. I will post another update with dates and times."
ReplyDeleteThe story three entries down reads "We will begin serving dinners soon. I will post an update on the dates and times."
I think BB is going at it right with a soft launch, so they can work out the kinks. Even established chains do this, so it's particularly important for an independent establishment.
For example, Ms. Vivians Whistlestop opened at Osbourne and Florida and they couldn't even keep the power on during opening hours. That certainly cut down on the quality of food and service they could provide and I'm sure BB doesn't want to lose customers becasue of a similar, unforseen event.
I'm also sure that once they feel comfortable with the daily workings of their new venture, the place will have an official Grand Opening with set hours and a consistent and delicious menu.
Please extend a little patience to them. Rome wasn't built in a day -- neither was Red Lobster.
