This was the original Seminole Heights blog with commentary about life in and around the urban neighborhood of Seminole Heights in Tampa, Florida. Musings about other topics as my mood permits. Candles As Art?
Have Candles As Art been snuffed out? I drove by today and noticed all their signs are down.
Yes, Victor was going to operate out of his home after closing the storefront, but according to his email last week, unforseen circumstances have required him to close altogether. I really enjoyed his products and the dedication he had for his business, and I will miss doing business with him.
Due to the cost of maintaining the web site and the store. Candles as Art has moved back into Victor and Ken's home. Although Candles as Art, technically, is no longer in existence, anyone who calls their home and wants a candle can have one made for them. Pick your color and your size and your shape and your smell, he will make it. He loves doing it and is very good at it. Just give him a ring.
You couldn't have believed they would have made as a business?
ReplyDeleteThat's unfortunate if true, the candles from there that we gave as Christmas presents were very well-received.
