SESHCA Needs Your Help!
The 2007 Slate of Officers ran unopposed and there were no write ins. Many people apparently did not think it was necessary to vote. Therefore a quorum was not reached and your board is not confirmed. If you wish to ratify the October vote, Please........

And you are an ass! There is a ton of steam. The board members are happy to be serving and working as are the committees. This has nothing to do with that. It is because people thought they did not have to vote, as no one was opposed. If you ever ventured outside of your ugly mustard colored cave you might have some vague idea what actually does go on in the neighborhood!
ReplyDeleteTo early to dance on the grave yet jerk. Better think of other entertainment....something that does not make you look so foolish!
Any time Flyer, any time. Not to worry tho, enough will vote.
ReplyDeleteBeen thinking Flyer. Why you waste so much time talking about things you know nothing about. YOU have lived here forever, and YOU don't belong to the association. So as far as I can tell YOU should have little to say about how it works because YOU know nothing!
ReplyDeleteYour job in SESH is not to contribute, but rather to be a loudmouth pain in the ass.
One thing, for sure, you are darn good at your job!
Well, Flyer, wherever do I start? The association has nothing to do with the property values. You may very well educate yourself on the affairs of the world at large and have a valid opinion. However, your observations of the workings of the association are made from the outside looking in. You truly do not have any idea what goes on in the community in which you live. The membership is alive and well and will weather ups and downs.
ReplyDeleteOne thing that tells me how ignorant you are of a major portion of the residents of this area is the fact that for some reason you persist with this idea that we all are looking to be another Hyde Park. Just because we give a darn about our surroundings, like nice plants, curb appeal, and enjoy working with one another, does not mean we want to be SOK. We are a wonderful neighborhood of diversity. It is the main attraction.
On a personal note. While I can tell your house is ugly. I would not know if it was paid for without your telling me. Not that I give a darn. But my point is, you have no way of knowing about my financing of my house. You are making assumptions which are meaningless. I have a reasonable fixed mortgage. I paid a reasonable price for my house, and enjoy a reasonable increase in it's value. A lot would have to happen to hurt my investment in my house. Thinking major flood or maybe a civil war. Or my house could be mysteriously airdropped and relocated next door to you.
At a loss for words Flyer? Guess so if your dialog is leaning towards the "your mother wears army boots" genera!
ReplyDeleteYou have posted a lot of opinions, and criticism, but I don't remember a lot of comments containing positive approaches to making changes with code or much of anything else. I also know you don't take any visible positive actions on your own though you continuously claim it is not necessary to "join" to make a difference. Actually you generally seem to chastise, whine, throw darts and stir the pot. None of which does much more than make noise. You subscribe to the live and let live rule which is idealistic and does not work very well in close quarters. You live in a village, not on an island.
ReplyDeleteIn addition, I have no idea what the Republican slurs have to do with any of this, but I am a Democrat. .
You go gettem girl!
ReplyDeleteFlyer Anon, I couldn't take it anymore!!! You are a uneducated idiot that is not happy unless you are trying to make someone's life miserable. I wasn't going to sign up for the blog as i am not one for censorship. I have read it maybe 3 times since the new censorship as it is no longer interesting with the same 4-6 people commenting. The blog lost its soulful flavor and is now quite dull.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I did see your comments and I have read your remarks previously and could not help but register and comment. You have tried everything over the years to tear down the good work of your neighbors, you have fought any slight progress and at times I feel you try to create disdain. You are bitter and unhappy living in a clean healthly neighborhood. I am not sure why you are still here.
Here is a thought. Why don't your convert your negative energy to a positive force to clean up your one little street, your house, your section of the hood. Do this for 5 years--Have your house reappraised and enjoy the benefits. I guarantee, if you would channel your energy into a positive force, you would enjoy the retirement nest egg you would be creating!
Flyer, how about the idea that crime goes right along with unkempt houses and low property values. While you may want to stay there forever, it is hard to believe you don't give a darn about what is around you. Things like loud over the top big base music, garbage in the front yard, rats, and excess automobiles that go no where.....is does that suit you? Hummm I seem to remember, that at least one of those things bothered you. Well, on the street I live on, the loud music is occassional and if asked the neighbor who likes it loud to tone it down, he is very cooperative. Our yards are ok, not Hyde Park marvelous, but ok, and we know and watch out for one another. We have pride. The result of that might be some higher property values. But that is not the goal and is a small price to pay for living on a nice street in a friendly neighborhood and feelin safe.
