This was the original Seminole Heights blog with commentary about life in and around the urban neighborhood of Seminole Heights in Tampa, Florida. Musings about other topics as my mood permits. The blog is essentially inactive since I moved to Lutz. Go to The Official Unofficial Seminole Heights Blog - www.seminoleheightsblog.com for active content.

Word Verification
I have temporarily turned off the word verification because frankly it is a pain. However if I start to get automated blog spam it goes back on.
Hey Anonymoose, can you let people know how you are able to make links that work in your comments?
Sure thing, its basic html, basic hypertext links follow the format inside the outermost quotation marks below, do not include the outermost quotes, but the innermost ones around the acutual link are required. Replace url.com with the link, I usually just copy the link from the browser toolbar and paste it. The text is whatever text you want the link to be attached to.
Regarding the above, prime example where preview might not work however, it still picked up the link reference. lets see if this works the link should look like this instead <a href="http://link.com">Text</a>
Finally, the above is example is how the link reference should look replacing the portion in the quotes with your link and replacing "Test" with the text you wish to appear in the comment to anchor the link
My mistakes, the example is the one from 8:10am. Just use the one line from the 8:10am comment replace link.com with whatever link you want, but include the quotation marks to the left of the http and the right of your link. You must also include the http:// part of the link. Replace the word Test with the text you want to be the link. For example: Link to CNN. Here Link to CNN is placed where Test was in the above example. The rest of the entries were a combination of my very rusty html and sloppy lack of proofreading before hitting the publish button.
oh yeah! Thank you so much!!!

ReplyDelete"Text"
It's good practice to test your links by using the preview button before you post.
