Henry and Ola Park
(Corner of Henry and Ola Avenues)
National Night Out is a nation-wide effort, sponsored by local Neighborhood Watch groups,
to band neighborhoods together in an attempt to help prevent crime.
This year, the Henry / Ola Neighborhood Watch group and the Tampa Police Department are coordinating this event.
Denise Moore, coordinator of Henry /Ola Neighborhood Watch, is organizing the event and would like to invite any neighbors in Seminole Heights to join the fun. Local business may set up information booths. There will be free school supplies, cold drinks and watermelon and fun activities for the children. A planning meeting for this event will take place on Monday, June 19th, at 7:00 PM at the home of Denise Moore and Alex Spassoff, 311 West Henry Avenue. Please call 236-0459 to confirm.
In 2004, the event drew over 500 people. Tampa Police Department flew in a helicopter and transported horses and motorcycles. It was a great event! A fun way to meet new neighbors. A great way to sponsor Seminole Heights!
