Car Vandalism Alert

"I just wanted to let you know there was a rash of car vandalism last night/early this morning in Old Seminole Heights – both of our cars were vandalized. One car’s back window was completely smashed in and the rear panel dented and the other car’s mirror was ripped off. Our neighbors also were victims – their windshield was smashed. When the police came to make a report, they said there had been 6 other incidents that they knew of, as well. After talking with the police, they think the perpetrators were kids in a green Saturn… of course this is unsubstantiated at this time as someone called the police after hearing a window being smashed and seeing a green Saturn driving away, but I wanted to send you what I know at this time. We live on Central between Sligh and Hanna… Please warn everyone about leaving their cars on the street – and not leaving valuables, etc. in them -- (though we had nothing of value in either car…) and to be on the lookout for activities like this. We have to be extra vigilant now that school is out."
