It looks like all of the dirt right of ways in the I-275 underpasses in Seminole Heights are getting asphalted, including the one that was mulched at Hanna.
I have mixed feelings. It's better than dirt, especially when tractor trailers pulled into it and tore it up, but I liked the mulched look better.

ReplyDeleteWhat do you think!
It is better than all the trash that ends up there!
So much for the grant that was used to landscape the Hanna overpass area.
ReplyDeletewith no landscaping or mulch it will just be that much easier for the trash to collect at the chainlink fences.
it will make it so much easier for all the cars to park at the underpass when school is letting out - I hope they cut down the oak trees that were planted also - wouldn't want to lose the opportunity for someone else to park.
ReplyDeleteArt. Good concept. How about murals on the columns?
ReplyDeletei was just in gainesville and under all the interstates they have wildlife murals painted by local artists.
ReplyDeleteI drove by yesterday and saw a junked-out car parked there already.
ReplyDelete$10 says we'll see cars for sale on there soon.
