The Tampa Police Department has received requests from law enforcement agencies throughout those areas impacted by Hurricane Katrina requesting immediate assistance for their working officers in the form of clothing and otherIf any one else in Seminole Heights is coordinating or collecting for the relief efforts, email me at Seminole.Heights@gmail.com or post a comment and I will add it to the blog.

clothing, ie., pants, shirts, underwear, socks and shoes (boots specifically).
Anyone wishing to donate to this cause may do so by delivering those
donations to:
1006 E. Idlewild Ave.
TPD intends to pick up the supplies on Tuesday afternoon so please drop off your donations no later than Tuesday morning.
Any assistance you can provide to these officers will be greatly appreciated.

Seminole Heights and TPD relief efforts for Law Enforcement.
Helen Harmon of Hampton Terrace area of Seminole Heights sent me the following:
TPD is accepting these donations at their Distict 1 Office (3818 W Tampa Bay Blvd), District 2 Office (9330 N. 30th Street), and at the downtown Headquarters (411 N. Franklin Street).
