This was the original Seminole Heights blog with commentary about life in and around the urban neighborhood of Seminole Heights in Tampa, Florida. Musings about other topics as my mood permits. The blog is essentially inactive since I moved to Lutz. Go to The Official Unofficial Seminole Heights Blog - www.seminoleheightsblog.com for active content.
Was the status of Tanga rays being a strip club ever in debate? Why would it have a stage with a pole? or for that matter an advertisement in the local adult magazine Being that the operation is run by a bunch of cronies, criminals and ex-con's it would be (or rather should be) translucent to any and everyone that it is some kinda of front operation and will continue to be an adult entrainment establishment, of one sort or another for as long as it is vaguely profitable or until TPD gets sick of responding to complaints and shuts the place down. it didn't surprise myself nor anyone of us locals that a "dance bar" would pop up in this area,I have been a patron of this bar for some years thru a few hands lots of management changes and thru thick and thin i still to this day go not for the atmosphere but for the people i still know it's not the bar it's the location. The last owners of the old springs bar had live bands 3 or more nights a week. As of late on any given night you can go in and see or at least get at least a reasonable suspicion as to several crimes being committed the least is underage "ladies" wearing basically nothing, getting drunk with a bunch of underage customers for some odd reason the management staff and ownership have taken it upon them selves to reduce the drinking age in this part of the country down to Oh i don't know let's say about 16 years old.
