My wife and I adopted 2 teeny tiny kittens over the past 6 years and they are the coolest cats ever. One was pretty much adopted by our dog and they have been the best of friends ever since. It's best to get them when they are still very young.Tonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14190593385849855149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11752889.post-784395404847589502008-07-05T17:48:00.000-04:002008-07-05T17:48:00.000-04:00I've lived here over 50 years and I have to say th...I've lived here over 50 years and I have to say the number of cats being dropped off in this area has increased. I also notice that 'renters' I'm sad to say, are leaving their pets behind.

I have never heard of some of the organizations that you refer to but, I will check them out as I love cats and sure don't want to see any harm come to them.

Last Sunday someone on Idlewild ran over a beautiful black and white cat. Don't know if it belonged to anyone. Two days later in the back of a vacant house near us, we rescued four kittens who most likely belonged to the cat that was hit as they were found behind the house she was killed kn the front of. We have taken them in, cleaned them up and are currently feeding them with an eye dropper. They are very healthy so that mother cat did an excellent job before she was killed. I'm in shock that someone could hit an animal and just keep driving. Makes me want to move to the country.Darlenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04878793245709280652noreply@blogger.com
